TachoManager is an application which enables to upload driver files (DDD files) to the server, where uploaded and parsed files receive long-term storage. Moreover, the application enables to view driver’s detailed information. Files are stored while your account exists or they are deleted from the server manually.
In order the application to work properly it is necessary to possess the following rights towards a resource: Query reports or messages, View and download files, Upload and delete files, View drivers, Create, edit, and delete drivers, View report templates.
Working with DDD files, and viewing driver's detailed information needs activation of the following billing services: Tachograph, Drivers, and Advanced reports.
There are two blocks in the interface of the app: block for manual file uploading (or top panel), and viewing one (here you can choose a date on the basis of which drivers table will be formed).
There are two ways to upload driver files: manual and automatic.
To upload a file manually it is necessary to press Upload file button in the top panel, choose the necessary DDD file on your computer, and press OK. Now uploading takes place as you can see from the corresponding phrase in the appeared window. The uploaded file is parsed and processed by the system. Then driver card information (including its ID) appears in the above mentioned window. The received card ID is compared to the code of the driver created in the monitoring system. Further there are two possible scenarios:
For automatic file upload it is necessary to send DDD file request command in the monitoring system interface (if the employed device supports this command). Afterwards the requested file is automatically uploaded to the server.
Prior to the automatic file uploading it is necessary to create a driver in the monitoring system, and indicate the corresponding driver code for it. Only in this case the file is automatically bound to the driver. In the other case the file is uploaded to the server and bound to the unit. This means that you cannot view it in the application.
To view extended driver information it is necessary to indicate a date or period of time when the file has been uploaded. You can choose an established day (Today, Yesterday) or an interval (Week, Month), or indicate any other period of time (Custom). Then press OK, and on the basis of the indicated date a table containing the following columns will be formed: driver name, file name, date of uploading, last activity date (if a month has passed since the last activity, then this piece of information is written in red).
Click a driver name in the table in order to open extended driver information window. The following data is presented here: a card ID, information from driver properties (including its image), and also the list of uploaded files which can be filtered by file name or activity period. Moreover, a calendar of yearly activity is situated here. Green color of the box shows months with driver activity, and white shows no activity.
To download DDD file click on the cloud shaped icon opposite to the file name.
